Introducing The Kia: A Stylish and Affordable Starter Home for First-Home Buyers

The Kia, is a crafted, compact and affordable project home tailored for a young first-time homebuyer eager to enter the Perth housing market. Situated in the scenic coastal suburb of Golden Bay, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home offers a perfect blend of functionality and style. The design leverages a north and east-facing corner aspect, maximizing natural light and providing an open, airy atmosphere that complements the relaxed coastal lifestyle.

The exterior features traditional white weatherboards and twin steeply pitched gable roof forms, creating an iconic presence amidst the more conventional, lower-pitched homes in the neighbourhood. A double carport, with its low-profile roof, subtly integrates into the design, allowing the twin-peak structure to take centre stage.

Inside, high raking ceilings in the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area enhance the sense of space, while exposed trusses and shaker-style panelled cabinetry add crafted character. A cozy fireplace completes the inviting ambiance. Large, glazed sliding doors flood the interior with natural light and seamlessly connect to the outdoor living and garden spaces, encouraging indoor-outdoor living.
